Supertube that’s faster than bullet train

Now, a supertube that’s faster than bullet train

hello Friends today transport is the play very important role in our daily life it help in short distance as from near mall or distance as other country it help us lot. the fastest mean of transport on land is bullet train that for normal people now engineer work on the fastest mean of transport called supertube which is faster than the bullet train

Over 100 engineers work on the marvel that will cover 760 miles an hour!

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies is planning to develop a supertube that would take passengers from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 35 minutes flat at a speed of 760 miles per hour.

Over 100 engineers from across the world are working on Musk’s supertube. Inside the tubes, hyperloop pods are mounted on thin skis made out of inconel, an alloy that can withstand high pressure and heat.
Hyperloop, the tube transport dream of SpaceX founder and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, could be ready for passengers in as few as 10 years, the Daily Mail reported.

Elon Musk, one of the brains behind the online payment system PayPal, claims his solar-powered ‘Hyperloop’ could herald a revolution in travel.
He said it would take just 30 minutes to travel the 381 miles from Los Angeles to San Francisco – half the time it takes in a plane – and likened the passenger experience to Disneyland’s rocket ride Space Mountain.
Air is pumped into the skis via small holes to make an air cushion with each pod having air inlets at the front.

Trains of capsules would shoot through the almost air-free tube at up to 760mph,
accelerated by magnets which would also keep each pod on a steady course.
Each capsule would float on a cushion of air it creates as it speeds along – similar to an air hockey table.
Capsules carrying six to eight people would depart every 30 seconds, with tickets costing around £13 each way.

An electric turbo compressor would compress air from the nose and route it to the skis and the capsule.
Magnets on the skis and an electromagnetic pulse would provide the pod its initial thrust.
The capsules carrying six to eight people would depart every 30 seconds.
“The only resistance would be the air in front of the capsule which we moved to the back by using a compressor,” Hyperloop CEO Dirk Ahlborn was quoted as saying.
According to Musk, Hyperloop would be a practical solution for travel between cities separated by 1,000 miles or less.- source TheHindu
